Venice Morning Walking Tour and Gondola Ride
Two and a half hours that cover Venice on foot and on the water, first thing in the morning before the day-trippers arrive. A local guide starts in Piazza San Marco with the Basilica, the Campanile and the Doge's Palace, then leads you out of the square into Castello — the residential district of narrow calli, small campi and quiet canals where Venetians actually live and almost no tour goes. The walk ends at the water, where a gondola takes you along the Grand Canal and into the side canals. Small shared group, 9am start.
