Keramikos Olive Oil Experience & Walking Tour
Begin your journey with a walking tour through one of Athens’ most authentic neighborhoods, where ancient history meets modern Greek life. As we stroll among olive trees, you’ll learn about Greece’s deep-rooted olive culture and the life cycle of the olive tree; from pruning and blossom to harvest. We’ll then continue to the tasting session, where you’ll discover the main stages of olive oil production and master the official tasting technique used by professionals. You’ll learn how to distinguish extra virgin from virgin olive oil and the best way to store it at home. Taste three distinct extra virgin olive oils, each representing a different variety and region of Greece. To complete the experience, enjoy a Greek-style lunch, where every dish is thoughtfully paired with the olive oils explored during the tasting.
