Tokyo Kanji Calligraphy Origami Matcha Making and Tea Tasting
Create your own piece of Japan through hands-on calligraphy, origami, and matcha. Choose a Japanese kanji character with a meaning that speaks to you, and practice writing it with a Japanese brush pen. Then select a handmade origami piece and combine it with your calligraphy to create a personalized artwork. Discover the meaning behind Japanese kanji and experience Japanese culture with your own hands. Finish your artwork with a vermilion seal. Then slow down with a tasting of three different Japanese teas before whisking and enjoying your own bowl of matcha. No previous experience is required. This relaxed, beginner-friendly experience is an easy and meaningful way to connect with Japanese culture during your time in Tokyo.
