This is far more than a cable-car ride to a famous viewpoint. You will explore Matterhorn Glacier Paradise with a local guide who is also an experienced climber—and some of our guides have climbed the Matterhorn themselves. They will bring the surrounding peaks to life with first-hand mountaineering stories, insider knowledge, the history of Zermatt and secret local legends you will not find on the information boards. At 3,883 metres, you will enter a spectacular world of permanent snow, ice and glaciers. We will visit the Glacier Palace beneath the ice and take in the extraordinary panorama of the Alps. When conditions permit, we will also step outside into a designated safe area where you can experience the snow and ice beneath your feet—and children can enjoy playing in the snow and making snowballs, even during summer. This is a relaxed private experience. We take time to answer your questions and allow your family or group to enjoy each place at its own pace.
