Discover two of Kyoto’s iconic traditions in one experience: a traditional matcha tea ceremony and a full-day kimono rental near Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Choose from a wide selection of kimono styles and colors, and let your experienced staff dress you comfortably. Then prepare and enjoy matcha with Japanese sweets while learning about tea culture in a peaceful setting. Your booking time is your arrival time at the shop. Allow about 2 hours for kimono selection, dressing, and the tea ceremony. Afternoon guests may come in the morning to dress first; your staff will advise the ceremony time so you can sightsee before returning. Before or after the ceremony, explore Kyoto in your kimono. Walk to Yasaka Pagoda, Sannenzaka, Ninenzaka, and Kiyomizu-dera, enjoy local food, and take memorable photos along the historic streets. Please return the kimono by 5:30 PM on the same day.
