Walk through the Rocinha
Discover Rocinha through the eyes of those who live there! On this walking tour, you will be accompanied by a local Guide and will experience the largest favela in Latin America in an authentic, safe, and respectful way. For greater convenience, we also have a transfer service, with pickup at hotels in Copacabana, Leme, Ipanema, and Leblon. The tour begins with a motorcycle taxi ride up to the Rocinha Viewpoint, from where you can admire incredible views of the community, the Lagoon, and the Christ the Redeemer. Then, you walk through alleys and streets full of history, visiting the Handicraft Fair, the Cultural Terrace with a capoeira performance, the Wark Gallery, the Castelinho Court, Altinha, Samba, Largo do Boiadeiro, and the famous Via Ápia.
