Valpolicella Intimate Amarone Wine Tour at a Hidden Winery
I pick you up from your accommodation in Verona province and take you into the heart of Valpolicella Classica, through its five historic municipalities. Stops along the way follow your interests, from scenic viewpoints to a short walk among the vineyards. We then reach a small, family-run winery I've personally selected, where you're welcomed like family and shown the cellar and vineyards before tasting. You'll taste 4-6 wines from the winery's production, typically Valpolicella Classico, Ripasso and Amarone, made mainly from Corvina and Rondinella grapes. Food isn't included, so the tasting unfolds at a relaxed, unhurried pace. At the end, I drive you back to your accommodation. What makes it special: small groups only, no buses, no crowds — just real conversations with the people who make the wine. Valpolicella is best understood slowly, through its family cellars rather than its best-known labels — and that's exactly what this tour offers: genuine access to its hidden side.
