From Lima: Paracas, Ballestas Islands and Huacachina, all-inclusive
A full day from Lima to Peru's southern coast, with transport and entrance fees included. We pick you up at your hotel in Miraflores, Barranco or San Isidro before dawn. In Paracas we board for the Ballestas Islands: we sail past the Candelabro, the huge geoglyph carved into the hillside facing the Pacific, and reach the islands, where the sea lion colonies are heard before they are seen, thousands of guano birds rest on the rocks and Humboldt penguins appear among the crevices. At midday we visit a traditional winery in Ica, where pisco is still made by hand. A tasting of wines, piscos, pisco creams, macerados and mistelas is included. In the afternoon we head to the Huacachina oasis in Ica, ride the dunes in buggies and sandboard down from the top. We return to Lima at nightfall.
