Thailand Floating Market Day Tour-Culture, Boats & Local Life
Experience the charm of traditional Thai life with a trip to Maeklong Railway Market. Stroll through the market that runs parallel to the railway tracks and watch trains arrive at the station. Then, take a boat trip to the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Enjoy a longtail boat ride to observe traditional Thai life, sample local food and fresh fruit, and buy handmade souvenirs. Next, learn about coconut sugar production from coconut blossom nectar at a local farm. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant of your choice. End the trip at Wat Bang Kang, an ancient temple covered in banyan tree roots, which houses centuries-old Buddha statues. Originally a military base used for training Muay Thai, Thailand's traditional martial art, the temple now features numerous statues depicting Muay Thai training stances for visitors to admire. Return to the hotel for your final day's activities.
