Lisbon: Archaeological Tour (with certified guide)
This tour, of my own making, is a visit to an unknown, but fascinating, Lisbon... discover some of the extraordinary archaeological sites of the Portuguese capital. The story is where you least expect it. Let's go to a shopping center, a bank, museums, churches, and even, imagine, a public restroom, to discover relevant traces of the past of the Portuguese capital. We will see, for example, the remains of a 13th-century wall, Roman tanks used for the production of a famous sauce throughout the empire, and even vestiges of a 17th-century house. We also toured very famous public spaces that hide enormous secrets. I will try, also including a visit to an archaeological site, which gathers vestiges from the Iron Age to the eighteenth century. The visit to this center is dependent on the availability of the location (by reservation, a request that I will always make). In this location, visits are conducted as an internal guide (45 minutes duration).
