Osaka Food Walk: Dotonbori St. to Kuromon Kitchen (Incl. Food)
Most travelers think Osaka means Dotonbori neon, takoyaki, photos. Ten minutes south sits the 200-year-old market that actually feeds it. You'll walk both, with someone who knows where the sushi chefs buy at dawn. Two hours, two districts, a handful of hand-picked bites. Down Dotonbori first kushikatsu, takoyaki with crispy edges, okonomiyaki stacked the local way. Then south to Kuromon: seared scallops, sashimi from a shop with no English sign, grilled eel, and a sweet from a 100-year-old wagashi case. Stand-and-eat etiquette, English-speaking Osaka local, max 8 guests. Water at every stop, vending machines along the way — drinks not included. Highlights: Two iconic districts in one walk neon streets meet 200-year market Hand-picked tastings, food included start to finish Kushikatsu, takoyaki, okonomiyaki + Kuromon sashimi, scallops & eel Small group (max 8), English-speaking Osaka local guide Photo support at Glico, Ebisu Bridge and inside the market
