Kyoto: Hidden Bar Crawl in Pontocho & Gion (Food & Drink Incl.)
Tucked behind Kyoto's lantern-lit alleys, a handful of tiny bars are pouring tonight — and you're walking in with someone the owners already know. Join a Kyoto local for a 2.5-hour crawl through Pontocho and Gion, the backstreets where Kyotoites actually end their day. We hop a small string of hand-picked spots — sharing Kyoto-craft sake, Japanese whisky, and a seasonal cocktail along the way. Each stop is its own room of one night: a standing izakaya, a hidden counter along the Kamogawa, a sake bar pouring labels you can't buy abroad — and, if the night allows, a quiet last pour under the lanterns. No tourist menus, no big group, no language wall — just a few warm rooms, a Kyoto local at your side, and a night that's yours. Highlights: ・Hand-picked hidden bars across Pontocho & Gion ・Kyoto-craft sake, Japanese whisky & seasonal cocktails ・Lantern-lit lanes where geiko and maiko still pass ・Max 8 guests, English-speaking local guide
