Interlaken: Exclusive Lake Brienz Cruise & Rothorn Mt. Train
Treat your family to a seamless luxury journey with a private minibus & chauffeur just for you. Enjoy a Lake Brienz cruise and a historic steam train ride to the spectacular mountain peak. Spend the morning exploring Interlaken's famous Höhematte before the crowds arrive. Board the vintage 1914 Lötschberg paddle steamer at Interlaken Ost with a first-class ticket for the upper deck, and sail the turquoise lake surrounded by the Bernese Oberland. Spot the original 1914 engine in action, the Crash Landing on You boat dock in Iseltwald, and the Grandhotel Giessbach, built on the cliffs in 1873 beside the impressive falls. In Brienz, board the steam-powered Brienzer Rothorn Bahn (built in 1891) for an hour-long ride through streams, meadows, and forests to the summit, with panoramic views of over 700 mountain peaks. Enjoy 2.5 hours at the Rothorn Kulm restaurant, from quick snacks to gourmet menus, plus a short hike to the viewing platform, before the 4:28 p.m. sunset train back down.
