2-Day Gobekli Tepe & Karahantepe Tour from Istanbul with Flights
Fly from Istanbul to Şanlıurfa and see Göbeklitepe and Karahantepe, two of the oldest known temples in the world, with your own licensed guide. Flights, Istanbul hotel transfers, a night in a stone mansion hotel and entrance fees are included. You fly to Şanlıurfa in the early morning, have breakfast in the city and start with Göbeklitepe (Göbekli Tepe), the world's oldest known temple. Later you visit the Şanlıurfa Archaeology Museum, with finds from the very sites you visit, and the Haleplibahçe Mosaic Museum. The day ends at Balıklıgöl and in the old bazaars, and you spend the night in a restored stone mansion in the old town. On the second day you continue to Karahantepe, Göbeklitepe's sister site, the ancient city of Soğmatar and the beehive houses of Harran before your flight back to Istanbul.
