Tokyo: Sushi Making Class in Shibuya Hand Rolled with Master
Step away from the neon lights of Shibuya and into a serene culinary oasis where you’ll master the most versatile form of sushi: Temaki. While Nigiri requires years of apprenticeship, Temaki (handrolled sushi) is the heart of Japanese celebrations and home gatherings—and we are going to show you exactly why. Your journey begins with an introduction to the essential components. You’ll learn how to handle Nori (dried seaweed) to keep it snap-crisp and how to spread the rice without crushing the grains. Your expert instructors will guide you through the "Golden Ratio" of fillings, ensuring every bite is a perfect harmony of vinegared rice and ocean-fresh seafood. The best part? The feast at the end. Sit down with your handmade creations, paired with hot miso soup and green tea, and enjoy the satisfaction of a meal you built from scratch. You’ll leave not just with a full stomach, but with the skills to host your own sushi party back home.
