A private afternoon on Iceland's South Coast and an evening at a Viking Story Night, just for your group. Your driver-guide picks you up at your Reykjavik accommodation around noon with a VAREN name tablet and helps with your bags. Walk behind Seljalandsfoss, step into the hidden canyon of Gljúfrabúi and feel the spray at Skógafoss. Follow an easy path to the edge of Sólheimajökull glacier, then see the basalt columns of Reynisfjara and the cliffs of Dyrhólaey. In the evening you arrive at Efri-Úlfsstaðir, a family horse farm on the land of Njál's Saga. Meet the Icelandic horses, then sit in a candlelit barn while a local storyteller brings the sagas to life. You taste fermented shark, dried fish, smoked lamb, Brennivín and Icelandic malt.
