Day Trip
Same Day Excursion To Bateshwar & Holipura From Agra
On this day-tour from Agra, visit the ancient settlement of Bateshwar that is situated on a crescent shaped bend of the River Yamuna. The ghats (riverfront steps) are evocative of Varanasi and the temples of Pushkar. You will experience a timeless landscape, an unhurried pace and the calm, positive vibes of prayers. Also visit the village of Holipura, located at the edge of the Yamuna Ravines, near Bateshwar. This is a stronghold of the Chaturvedi clan who claim descent from the Greek soldiers of Alexander’s army.
