A Two Night Excursion To Jaisalmer From Jodhpur By Private Transfer
Your three day tour takes you from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer, deep in the heart of the Thar Desert. It is one of the last princely bastions in the region. Jaisalmer is located on the intersection of two medieval trade routes. Known as the "Golden City," it is distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture. This remote settlement came to be celebrated for the valour of its rulers, and for the aesthetic sense represented by their palaces and havelis. The rich merchants engaged stone-craftsmen who worked with great diligence on the sandstone mansions they built, decorating facades with sculptural filigree, screen windows, delicate pavilions and beautiful balconies. You will see this unique desert city, its massive fort and magnificent architecture over the next few days. NOTE: (Expect More People on Ground / Monuments/Public Places During the Tour). Highlights • Jaisalmer Fort • Jain Temples • Unique Architecture of buildings • Sunset Camel Ride in the Sam Dunes
