Tokyo: Ueno Local Food Tour – Sushi, Ramen, Yakitori & Drinks
Welcome to Ueno, where Tokyo locals really eat! After work, salarymen, grandmas, and friends gather here to eat and drink, and you’ll join them in a small group at 4 local spots. Long before Shibuya or Shinjuku existed, Ueno was at the heart of Edo over 400 years ago. That history shaped Tokyo’s food culture, and it’s still one of the best places to taste real local food. Our CEO was born and raised right here, so we take you to the places locals love. No trendy tourist spots, just warm, authentic restaurants and izakayas serving delicious food for generations. We sit down at every stop to enjoy classics like fresh sushi, gyoza, yakitori, and ramen, so there’s plenty of time to chat about anything: Japanese culture, history, or what life in Tokyo is really like. Our guides are the #1 reason guests love this tour: friendly, energetic, and full of stories that bring Ueno to life. Couples, families, or solo travelers, we want you to leave with a real connection to Ueno!
