Private Bordeaux Food Tour: Sunday Market Visit & Gourmet Cruise
Discover the best of Bordeaux’s culinary and cultural scene in one unique half-day tour. This gourmet experience takes you from the heart of a local food market to the deck of a private river cruise. Led by Aurélien — a sommelier andformer English teacher with a clear and natural accent —this experience goes beyond a typical market tour. Start your adventure at a charming boutique where you’ll sample local specialties like Lillet and regional delicacies. Then follow your guide through the Chartrons market. While you take in the sights, smells, and stories, your guide will collect a hand-picked selection of gourmet products: oysters, roasted chicken, cheese, charcuterie, and pastries — the best of southwest France, in one basket. Next, step aboard a private boat for a 90-minute cruise on the Garonne River. As the city drifts by, enjoy your market feast paired with local Bordeaux wines. This is your moment to unwind, taste, and take in the beauty of the city from a new perspective.
