A Modern Kimono Photoshoot in Osaka
Forget the standard kimono photos. Kimono doesn’t have to mean standing in front of a temple, smiling at the camera. This activity puts kimono into the real streets of Japan. You might shoot beside a vending machine, in a quiet alley, surrounded by greenery, against bold architecture, or somewhere you simply happen to discover along the way. The goal isn’t to make you look like a tourist wearing a kimono. The goal is to make you look like you. During this one hour photoshoot, I’ll direct your poses, find interesting compositions, and turn the streets around us into your backdrop. The result is a set of 25 carefully selected, professionally edited photographs with a more modern, fashion-inspired feel. Kimono rental and basic hair styling can also be arranged for approximately 5,000 yen per person. This isn’t the traditional kimono photoshoot. That’s the point. Available in Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe.
