Artisanal Rum Distillery "Peligroso Pérez"
Master Blender Francisco Pérez is a renowned master blender, gastronomic consultant, and spirits expert from Gran Canaria. He learned the craft directly from his father—also a master blender—and has become one of the most influential figures in the culture of rum and artisanal spirits in the Canary Islands. Destilería Peligroso Pérez is not a large, traditional industrial factory, but rather an artisanal project and signature brand led by Francisco Pérez, known in the industry as the "Master of Spirits" or "Peligroso Pérez." During the visit, you will learn about the history of the *Hacienda* (estate) and the distillery project. You will discover every stage of the process, from the preparation of the sugarcane fields to the sourcing of various aged rums from around the world, which undergo a second aging process in historic Sherry casks. Lasting approximately 30 minutes, the visit includes a brief tasting of one of the rums selected by the Master Blender.
