Private Tour Azeitão and Arrábida Wine Cellar from Lisbon
Explore the Setúbal Peninsula and Arrábida Natural Park on a full-day journey combining Portuguese wine, local flavors, charming villages and breathtaking landscapes. Cross the Vasco da Gama Bridge and visit the Livramento Market in Setúbal (on Mondays, Palmela Castle instead). In Azeitão, visit a historic family-owned wine cellar, learn about Portuguese winemaking and enjoy a tasting of Moscatel de Setúbal and red wine, followed by the traditional Tortas de Azeitão. Drive through the scenic Arrábida Mountains, with spectacular views of the Atlantic, Sado River and coastline, including a stop at around 500m altitude overlooking Portinho da Arrábida. Continue to Sesimbra, where you’ll have free time for lunch, exploring and relaxing by the beach. Lunch is not included; we recommend trying the local specialty choco frito.
