Unmissable Cerro thunder and Black Blizzard in one day
The tour starts with the emblematic Route 40 to the south, bordering the lakes Gutierrez and Mascardi. After crossing Villa Mascardi, the road enters a unique mountain environment, with spectacular views of the Manso River Valley, Heart Island and White Creek. The first stop is Pampa Linda, a corner surrounded by nature where you will have free time to have lunch and contemplate the vastness of Cerro Tronador. Then we will visit the famous Black Blizzard, a unique dark-hued glacier fed by ice slides coming from the summits of the Tronador. The experience continues until you reach the foot of Cerro Tronador, the highest mountain in Nahuel Huapi National Park. There you can admire its glaciers, listen to the characteristic rumble of the icefalls that gave it its name and enjoy one of the most impressive natural scenes in Patagonia.
