You visit both Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain, and we adjust the order and timing according to where you want to watch the sun go down. Choose Sugarloaf for Rio’s classic sunset experience, with wide coastal views, Guanabara Bay and a lively atmosphere as the city lights begin to appear. Choose Christ the Redeemer for a higher, broader view across Rio, a less traditional setting and the chance to see the statue illuminated as evening falls. The extended option includes transportation to a restaurant in Copacabana, Ipanema or Leblon, waiting time for your driver and a private ride back afterward. Dinner, drinks, service charges and other restaurant expenses are not included.
