Sail from the Old Town and see the thick woods of the Kanoni Peninsula. Pass Mon Repos villa and gardens on the way to Plataria and Syvota. Continue down the coast to Parga with its notable architecture and bays. See the remains of an 11th-century Venetian Castle of Parga built as defense against pirates and Turks. Visit a small island with a church dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Venetian and French-style buildings. Walk the narrow streets and have lunch at a taverna overlooking the sea, or swim at one of the beaches.
